‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ season 2 announced

The second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes arrives in 2026.

The first season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes aired today, but Toho Co., Ltd. wants to let fans know that there is more on the way. They released a teaser trailer and key art announcing that season two is underway.

The anime serves as a prequel to My Hero Academia and is based off of the manga series from Hideyuki Furuhashi, Betten Court, and Kohei Horikoshi. In a world where the use of superpowers is regulated, the story follows a young man named Koichi whose desire to help others causes him to break the law and hero without a license. He joins other fellow vigilantes to fight crime.

The teaser trailer is short and sweet revealing that My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will return in 2026. It also provides some hints at the events to come in the upcoming sequel season. It will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide excluding Asia.

The first season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes was directed by Kenichi Suzuki, written by Yosuke Kuroda, and with animation produced by Bones Film. The main voice cast, both in Japanese and English include Shuichiro Umeda / Jack Broadbent (Koichi Haimawari aka The Crawler), Ikumi Hasegawa / Macy Anne Johnson (Kazuho Haneyama aka Pop☆Step), Yasuhiro Mamiya / Jason Marnocha (Knuckleduster), Sayaka Senbongi / Morgan Lauré Garrett (Kuin Hachisuka), Asami Seto / Molly Searcy (Makoto Tsukauchi), and Toshiyuki Morikawa / Sean Schemmel (Christopher Skyline aka Captain Celebrity). 

Before season two, fans can watch the final season of My Hero Academia which arrives this October.
