Reunited
The characters Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David received their starts on the flagship NCIS series, but both eventually left the show. Now the pair are back together starring in their own spinoff.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva picks up shortly after the latter’s supposed death and the former giving up his career to raise their daughter. We follow along Ziva’s journey until she is reunited with her loved ones. Then, when Tony’s security business is attacked, they must go on the run throughout Europe while trying to discover who is chasing them.
The first three episodes of NCIS: Tony & Ziva release Thursday, September 4, on Paramount+.
In Too Deep
Task takes place in the working class suburbs of Philadelphia. When a string of violent robberies occurs, an FBI agent is given command of a task force to find the culprit. The perpetrator is a hard person to catch since he is an unassuming family man.
The show is from Brad Inglesby, who also created The Mare of Easttown. It stars Mark Ruffalo, Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Thuso Mbedu, Fabien Frankel, Alison Oliver, Raúl Castillo, Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe Fox, and Martha Plimpton.
The series premiere of Task airs Sunday, September 7, on HBO.
Fighting for the Living
In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the titular character finds himself a long way from home. At least last season he was able to reunite with Carol and the pair make their way to England in the finale hoping to find transport there back to the U.S.
Unfortunately in season three they experience some setbacks and are even further away from their destination. Despite finding themselves in a new area, they can’t manage to escape the horrors of the zombie apocalypse.
The season three premiere of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon airs Sunday, September 7, on AMC.
