The next Disney+ series from the MCU is Marvel Zombies. The concept was introduced in the episode “What If…Zombies?!” from What If, and will release on September 24, 2025. If zombies are already a handful, imagine what they are like with powers? Today, a trailer was released providing a look at the upcoming animated show.
In this alternate timeline, the Avengers succumb to a zombie plague and terrorize the world. The story follows a group of desperate survivors who set out to discover the key to stopping the super-powered undead. They race across a terrifying landscape risking their own lives in order to save the day. With so many hordes of zombies, this may be one of the bloodier and more violent installments of the MCU.
Marvel Zombies features many of the voices of their live-action counterparts. The cast includes Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Tessa Thompson, Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Hailee Steinfeld, Wyatt Russell, Randall Park, Iman Vellani, Dominique Thorne, and more.
The series is created by Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells. It is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells, and is produced by Danielle Costa, Carrie Wassenaar.
All four episodes of Marvel Zombies drop September 24, 2025 on Disney+.
