The last kaiju has fallen. The suits have been put away. And the dream of the sentai has faded into memory. SHIN ZERO is both a requiem for forgotten heroes and a tribute to the mythologies that shaped them. Today, AIPT can share a preview of the project, which has 7 days left to back on Kickstarter!
Magnetic Press and French design house Label 619 have cooked up a powerful new graphic novel by acclaimed creators Mathieu Bablet (Shangri-La, Carbon & Silicon) and Guillaume Singelin (Frontier, PTSD).
Set twenty years after the final kaiju battle, Shin Zero follows Warren, Nikki, Héloïse, Satoshi, and Sofia—once a sentai team ready to save the world, now roommates scraping by in a privatized future. Their legacy lingers only in fluorescent jackets and dead-end side gigs. But when something awakens in the ruins, these washed-up warriors must face a haunting question: Should legends be reborn, or remain buried?
With Singelin’s energetic visuals and Bablet’s emotional storytelling, Shin Zero is Power Rangers meets RENT—a neon-soaked meditation on memory, myth, and the monsters that never quite leave us.

The Kickstarter runs through September 11, 2025. Back the project, claim exclusive editions, and help reignite the sentai spirit for a generation still waiting to transform.
