The hype is real for Absolute Joker, who has been revealed in a few different ways, but will be getting a full backstory in the upcoming Absolute Batman #15. Out in December, the issue is written by Scott Snyder with art by Jock.
Early this morning, Jock shared via social media a new look at Absolute Joker, and he’s even more frightening than you might expect.

Comparing this to the cover by Nick Dragotta, one can see he has far more teeth than we might have guessed. Instead of one row, as Dragotta drew (see below), there seems to be at least three!
The eyes are also very lifeless, though when color is added, he may get some baby blues.
What do you make of the Absolute Joker? Is he scary enough, or maybe too scary? Personally, I’m getting a Pennywise the Clown vibe.
