This January, Marvel claws deep into Logan’s past, present, and future with Logan: Black, White & Blood, a new entry in the fan-favorite anthology line that drenches Wolverine’s world in stark black, white, and crimson. No, you’re not crazy, Logan has already had the Black, White & Blood treatment back in 2020.
First launched in 2020 with Wolverine: Black, White & Blood, the series gave creators free rein to tell savage, self-contained stories that spotlighted Marvel’s most dangerous icons. Now, Logan himself takes center stage again, as never-before-seen chapters of his life unfold — from shadowy missions and forgotten wars to present-day carnage.
The lineup is stacked with legendary Wolverine talent, including the long-awaited return of writer Larry Hama and artist Adam Kubert, joined by modern voices like Saladin Ahmed (Wolverine) and Tom Waltz (Wolverine: Blood Hunt). Soldier, secret agent, hero — Logan has been it all, and Logan: Black, White & Blood promises to show the brutality behind every chapter.
Here’s what readers can look forward to in the debut issue:
- Tom Waltz and Alex Lins reveal Logan’s never-before-revealed military service during the 1950s – with a secret connection to a fan-favorite Marvel character!
- A mission in seedy 1970s Times Square puts Logan on the trail of a deranged serial killer, as told by Saladin Ahmed and Adam Kubert.
- Survival is the name of the game after Logan escapes from Weapon X – by Larry Hama and Dave Wachter.
