Courtesy of DSTLRY, AIPT can exclusively reveal preview pages and covers from Endeavour #3, the latest chapter in Stephanie Phillips and Marc Laming’s haunting survival horror series.
Since its debut, Endeavour has transformed a luxury historical voyage into a nightmare at sea. Inspired by the legacy of Captain James Cook’s famous ship, the series strands seven children aboard a modern recreation of the HMS Endeavour after a catastrophe leaves them isolated in the middle of the ocean. What follows is a chilling descent into fear, violence, and the breakdown of social order that has drawn comparisons to Lord of the Flies and Yellowjackets.
The upcoming third issue pushes the survivors into even darker waters.
According to DSTLRY, the storm has finally passed, but the children’s situation continues to deteriorate. Food is scarce, trust is gone, and the emotional toll of everything they’ve endured threatens to overwhelm them. As guilt and paranoia spread through the ship, strange whispers begin to echo from below deck, raising unsettling questions about whether the danger surrounding them is entirely of this world.
Phillips has steadily built the series around escalating psychological tension, while Laming’s detailed artwork gives every confrontation and moment of unease a grounded sense of realism. The preview pages showcase both the growing fractures within the group and the creeping dread that has become a hallmark of the series.
In addition to Marc Laming’s main cover, Endeavor #3 will feature variant covers by acclaimed artists, Marc Laming, Stephanie Hans, and George Pratt.
