The Infernal Hulk is nearing its explosive finale, and artist Adam Gorham is marking the release of the penultimate issue with a one-of-a-kind fan event.
Gorham has announced a special signing and Q&A taking place next week at Good Behaviour in Toronto, hosted by comics journalist Tiffany Leigh. The ticketed event celebrates the release of The Infernal Hulk #9, which arrives in comic shops on July 15.
Fans attending the event will receive a signed copy of The Infernal Hulk #9, a Hulk-themed ice cream sandwich, a pint of ice cream to take home, and entry into a drawing to win an original Hulk illustration by Gorham.
“This event will combine two things I’ve loved since I was a child: comic books and ice cream,” Gorham told AIPT. “The Infernal Hulk #9, the series’ penultimate issue, comes out July 15, and I can’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than by going out for ice cream and talking with fans about my love of comics and my experience working on one of Marvel Comics’ biggest titles.”
The event will also feature an interview with Gorham, followed by an audience Q&A where fans can ask about the series, his creative process, and his work on Marvel’s reimagining of the Hulk.
Tickets are $40, with attendance limited due to the venue’s capacity. Given the combination of a comic signing, exclusive treats, and original artwork up for grabs, fans interested in attending will likely want to reserve a spot sooner rather than later.
