You’ve seen the final covers, but how about an exclusive look at an interior page from Amazing Spider-Man #1000? Today, AIPT can share an interior page from J.M. DeMatteis and Humbert Ramos’ story “Requiem for a Goblin”.
It’s something everyone is excited about, including DeMatteis:
“I’ve spent many years in Peter Parker’s company—having lived so deep inside his head, I know him better than some of my closest friends—and I’m both delighted and honored to be a part of this landmark issue, revisiting the classic dynamic between Peter and Harry Osborn.”
While the page is unlettered, it’s pretty obvious that it’s dealing with the trauma Peter Parker has with the Green Goblin. Likely a nightmare or dream, although who knows, maybe Green Goblin really is popping out of a coffin!
Check out the variant cover below that teases the story, along with the new page!
