Dark Horse Comics has announced Invasive Species, a new science fiction series from legendary creator Frank Miller, with artwork by Ryan Benjamin and colors by Alex Sinclair.
The announcement coincides with Miller’s return to San Diego Comic-Con, where he will appear alongside Benjamin and Sinclair for a special signing featuring never-before-seen artwork from the upcoming series.
While story details remain under wraps, Dark Horse confirmed that convention attendees will be the first to see artwork from Invasive Species, offering an early look at the creative team’s latest collaboration.
“Any day you get to personally announce a new Frank Miller book is already amazing, but when you get to add Ryan Benjamin and Alex Sinclair to the mix it becomes one for the ages,” said Tim Weisch, Head of Publishing and Business Development at Dark Horse Comics. “I can’t wait for fans to see what they’re doing in the new book Invasive Species and folks at SDCC will be the first to see it!”
Dark Horse also revealed that Invasive Species is only the beginning of its renewed partnership with Miller. The publisher confirmed the acclaimed creator is developing additional projects with Dark Horse, with more announcements planned for a later date.
Further details on Invasive Species, including its story, release date, and format, have yet to be revealed.
