‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ deleted scene video features a very angry Rey

Your first look at a deleted scene from Star Wars: The Last Jedi featuring a very angry Rey.

There has been ample evidence in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi of similarities between Kylo Ren and Anakin Skywalker, but what about precocious, Force-sensitive Rey?

The following video from the official Star Wars YouTube offers a glimpse at a crucial deleted scene to be included in Star Wars: The Last Jedi Director’s Cut, one that features a very angry Rey (Angrey?) racing towards an island village on the planet of Ahch-To after learning some disheartening information from Luke.

The scene seems to reinforce sentiments Luke made regarding Rey’s natural inclination towards the Dark Side of the Force (“You went right for the Dark; it offered you something you wanted, and you didn’t even try to stop it”), a plot thread that many fans believe could have been expounded upon more in the film. Let’s not forget that Rey looked like she was seconds away from slicing Kylo Ren in half at the end of The Force Awakens before an unanticipated earthquake separated them from one another.

Should this deleted scene have been left in the big screen version of The Last Jedi? Is Rey really prone to the Dark Side of the Force or will she reveal abilities and understanding that will shatter our previous knowledge of the Force? Sound off in the comments.
