Red Sox Game Day Event giveaways include Star Wars and WWE swag

Spring means baseball season which is particularly popular in the Boston area. AiPT! is operated out of New England and we’re particularly excited for sports and nerd culture to come together this summer. The Red Sox will be hosting Game Day Events focusing on anything from the Grateful Dead to Game of Thrones.

Red Sox fans are at a whole other level and so are the excellent giveaways the team will be giving out this summer. Starting May 1 just in time for Star Wars Day on May the 4th some lucky fans will get a limited Xando Calrissian bobblehead. Two weeks later a special Cheers glass will be handed out and every few weeks even more cool swag will be going to fans coinciding with musical acts coming to town. Fans of WWE and Dustin Pedroia can get their hands on the limited edition Pedroia WWE bobblehead July 10th, for instance.

Star Wars Night: Tuesday, May 1 at 7:10pm. The force is back at Fenway this year as Xander Bogaerts transforms into Xando Calrissian (at least in bobblehead form) as the team celebrates the upcoming Star Wars movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Star Wars characters will join friends Wally, Tessie and fans around the ballpark for photos and fans will receive the limited edition Xando Calrissian bobblehead.

Cheers Night: Monday, May 14 at 7:10 pm. Everyone will know your name as the Sox celebrate the 25th anniversary of the last episode of Boston-based TV show, Cheers. Fans will receive a commemorative Cheers and Red Sox pint glass and will have access to the Sam Deck for pre-game Cheers Trivia.

Margaritaville Night: Tuesday, May 29 at 7:10 pm. Parrot Heads will make their way to Fenway Park for Margaritaville Night which will include a pre-game concert on Yawkey Way with Worcester band The Island Castaways Band. Plus, fans will receive a limited-edition Red Sox Margaritaville hat.

Pearl Jam Night: Friday, June 22 at 7:10 pm. Yawkey Way will be jamming pre-game with Outfall from Springfield, MA as the Red Sox celebrate the upcoming return of Pearl Jam to Fenway Park. Plus, fans will receive a limited-edition pennant designed by Pearl Jam! Pearl Jam Night

Country Night: Monday, July 9 at 7:10 pm. Baseball and country music go hand in hand, and Boxborough-native Jimmy Connor, who recently won the CD of the Year by New England Country Music, will be playing all the hits on Yawkey Way pre-game before the Sox take on the Rangers. To top the night off, fans will receive a Red Sox Country hat!

WWE Night: Tuesday, July 10 at 7:10 pm. “SmackDowns” are in the forecast as WWE and its stars head to Yawkey Way. Fans will get an exclusive look at Dustin Pedroia as a WWE Superstar by receiving a limited edition Pedroia WWE bobblehead! All fans should head to the Park early to catch WWE Stars on the concourse!

Grateful Dead Night: Monday, July 30 at 7:10 pm. The annual celebration for New England Dead Heads is coming back to Fenway Park this season. Boston-based tribute band Bearly Dead will be playing all the hits on Yawkey Way pre-game and a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the official charity of the Grateful Dead, the Rex Foundation. Plus, fans will also receive a Grateful Dead-Red Sox themed item!

Peanuts Night: Monday, August 20 at 7:10 pm. The most popular comic strip of all time is back at Fenway Park this season. Fans will receive a limited-edition bobblehead of Snoopy debuting his Red Sox jersey.
