June 20, 2018’s 5 in 5: The five comic books you should buy this week

The (third most important) wedding of the century, and Dan Slott’s emotional goodbye and new beginning.

This week marks the wedding of the century! (If you don’t count the Royal Wedding, and Batman and Catwoman’s wedding.) X-Men Gold #30 cordially invites you to the wedding of Kitty Pryde and Colossus, and for that it nabs a spot on our 5 in 5 this week, the video series where we tell you which five comic books need to be on your pull list this week.

Also making the list from Marvel is Amazing Spider-Man #801, Dan Slott’s goodbye to the character he’s poured so much of himself into over the past few years, and his new beginning in Tony Stark: Iron Man #1. DC makes the list with The Wild Storm #14, and Aftershock rounds out the top five with Zack Kaplan’s excellent The Lost City Explorers #1, which we got our hands on a couple months ago and absolutely loved.

As always, if you like what we’re doing with 5 in 5, be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel, like the video, comment, and share with your friends!
