SPOILERS ahead. You’ve been warned.
One of the tried and true elements of the mutant-centric comics is how, for the most part, mutants can trust one another. Sure, there’s your Mr. Sinister and your Hellfire Club, but if you’re within the walls of the Xavier Institute, you’re probably safe. Well, until today. Writer Tom Taylor dropped a doozy of a reveal on the final page of Hunt for Wolverine: The Adamantium Agenda that has huge implications for the X-Men. In a closing scene, Tony Stark reveals something he learned after looking at Mr. Sinister’s database of mutant DNA.
Not only is this mysterious mutant a threat, but it’s also an interesting idea. A person who was created to look like a mutant, but is not one at all. That’s sure to create some identity issues if the mysterious character isn’t aware of their creation.
Who do you think is the sleeper agent amongst the X-Men? Please don’t be Jean!
