Welcome back to the official AiPT! Comics podcast where your hosts Connor ChristiansenForrest Hollingsworth, and David Brooke discuss their favorite comics of last week, news, their most anticipated books out next week.

In episode 5 we discuss the success of Cyclops Week, the uproar over Tom King’s Superman story in the Walmart comics, discuss George Perez retiring from comics, and DC Comics canceling books and firings. We also give our pick for best artist and writer in the month of January which includes Jason Aaron, Donny Cates, and Kieron Gillen for the writer’s category and Andrea Sorrentino, Bilquis Evely, and Matias Bergara.

We also break down our favorite two books out January 23rd and what we’re looking forward to coming to comic shops January 30th.
