Scope out DC Universe’s new poster for Doom Patrol

A glimpse at the team we’ll see live in just over a week.

We’re just a little over a week away from the premiere of DC Universe’s Doom Patrol, and to celebrate DC has released the series’ first poster (via Comicbook) which provides fans with a look at the team of weird unlikely heroes – Negative Man, Crazy Jane, Elasti-Woman, Robotman, Cyborg and The Chief.

DC has clearly chose to base the characters’ appearances off of Gerard Way and Nick Derrington’s most recent iteration of the team. Feast your eyes on the poster below.

“DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved groups of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence — and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.”

Doom Patrol stars April Bowlby as Rita Farr / Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Kay Challis / Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone / Cyborg, Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan as Clifford “Cliff” Steele / Robotman respectively, Alan Tudyk as Eric Morden / Mr. Nobody, Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder / The Chief, and Matt Bomer and Matthew Zuk as Larry Trainor / Negative Man respectively.

Doom Patrol made their first appearance in DC Universe on the fifth episode of the live action series Titans. The series premieres on the DC Universe streaming network February 15, 2019.
