Eat your vitamins and say your prayers, because a Hulk Hogan biopic is coming to Netflix, with Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth playing the legendary professional wrestler. According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Pollono (Stronger) will co-write along with Scott Silver (The Joker). The movie will be directed by Todd Phillips (The HangoverOld School), and will be released on Netflix.

Hulk Hogan is easily the most iconic pro wrestler in the history of the genre, and was a cornerstone of American culture throughout the 1980s and 90s. However, his personal life was in the public eye for all the wrong reasons in the late 2000s and early 2010s, including a sex tape scandal involving Hogan, radio personality Bubba The Love Sponge, and Bubba’s wife that depicted Hogan using racist language and culminated in a highly publicized lawsuit against the website Gawker, which resulted in the publication’s demise. As a result, Hogan’s WWE contract was terminated and he was temporarily removed from the WWE Hall of Fame (he has since been reinstated and once again does work on behalf of WWE).

Hemsworth as Thor.

THR notes, however, that the biopic will not go into his recent personal struggles, and will instead focus on the origin and rise of Hulkamania.

Hemsworth is best known as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series of movies, including Avengers: Endgame which will open April 26th. He is also starring in Men in Black: International, which will open June 14th.

So whatcha gonna do, brother, when the Hulk Hogan movie drops on Netflix?
