Former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will appear on the next episode of Monday Night Raw to update the world on his battle with leukemia, WWE.com announced today.
Roman has not been seen on WWE television since announcing his departure and relinquishing the WWE Universal Championship in October. This will be fans’ first insight as to how his recovery is going, and if or when we’ll see the Big Dog back in action.

Since Reigns left WWE television, the landscape has changed dramatically: one of his Shield brothers, Seth Rollins, will be facing off against perhaps Reigns’s greatest rival in Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the title Reigns was forced to relinquish. Meanwhile, the third member of The Shield is on his way out of the company.
While Reigns has been absent from WWE television since October, he has appeared and been photographed at various sporting events, looking to be in good spirits, and landed a role in his cousin The Rock’s upcoming movie, Hobbs and Shaw.
We wish Roman Reigns all the best, and hope to hear good news this coming Monday on Raw.
