Reigns announced in October that he has been battling leukemia for 11 years, and that it was back. He stepped away from the ring and was forced to relinquish the WWE Universal Championship. Tonight, just four months later, he has recovered and is ready to return to WWE on a regular basis.
The update was given in front of an extremely supportive crowd who showed their appreciation for Joe A’noai the man, despite having a contentious relationship with Roman Reigns the character in the past.
