Lego Marvel – Avengers: Endgame – War Machine Hulkbuster Build/Review

A fun and easily built set that produces a pretty cool battle suit, and well worth the build time.

With Avengers: End Game on the horizon, we’re finally getting our first real glimpses at the most anticipated film of the year. Though there’s plenty to be seen in the latest trailers for the 22nd movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are also tidbits to be discovered in other places, notably, in the movie tie-in lego sets! Case in point: Lego Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame War Machine Buster.

Spoilers maybe?

This 362-piece set features 4 mini figures (Two different versions of the Outrider monsters, Scott “Ant-Man” Lang and James “Rhodey” Rhodes), and the imposing Hulkbuster version of Rhodes’ War Machine armor.

Watch our video review and speed build below.

It’s not something we’ve seen Rhodes bust out in previous movies, so it’s existence could potentially be considered a spoiler, but if it does appear in the film, it’s likely not significant to the plot, and there’s every chance that it’s just a cool invention of the good people at Lego, so do with that information what you will.

Squad Goals!

The finished product is highly articulated and features 4 projectile firing mechanisms – most impressively, a working gatling gun mounted to the buster’s shoulder. I say that more as a warning to parents of small children, as the little light pieces that serve as ammunition for these cannons are easy to lose or ingest, so it’s best to keep an eye on them during the building process, and especially when playing with the finished product.

And this will be a fun one to play with.

Still this is a fun and easily built set that produces a pretty cool battle suit, and well worth the build time. It will be fun to see the Buster armor stack up against other sets in the Avengers series.
