“AiPT! Comics presents: The Science and Philosophy of X-Men Biology” is a panel coming to this year’s NECSS conference in the heart of Manhattan, where you’ll see evolutionary biologist Nathan H. Lents examine what it means to be the “next step in human evolution,” geneticist Yelena Bernadskaya answers all the burning questions about how the X-Gene works and how it’s inherited, and philosopher and ethics professor Aaron Rabinowitz pushes for the radical agenda of encouraging MORE mutation in the populace.
It’s all moderated by AiPT! Science Editor Russ Dobler, who is also the president of the New York City Skeptics, one of the co-organizers of NECSS. The 11th annual NECSS, the Northeast Conference on Science and Skepticism, takes place July 11-14, and will bring together leading scientists, activists, and artists to educate and engage attendees through individual presentations, panel discussions, and performance pieces.
