He’s going from sparkly vampire to The Dark Knight — Robert Pattinson, perhaps best known from his starring role in the Twilight saga and more recently in 2017 crime-film Good Time is in talks to play Bruce Wayne/Batman in upcoming Matt Reeves’ film The Batman, which is slated for a June 25th, 2021 release. Although Pattison may seem like a peculiar choice for The Caped Crusader, the 33-year-old actor still has time to more thoroughly dissociate himself from his days Edward Cullen as the lead in a still as of yet unnamed Christopher Nolan-directed movie due to hit theaters in 2020. Reeves, of Cloverfield and the last two War for the Planet of the Apes films fame, took over directing duties of The Batman from Ben Affleck in 2017.
