It’s official, folks: Jon Moxley is an AEW star.
Moxley’s debut at AEW’s Double or Nothing PPV Saturday night blew the roof off of the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the wrestling world is in an absolute frenzy over his actions against Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.
After the show was over Cody spoke to media about what Moxley’s signing meant to him, and how he was the top draft pick for AEW. The company was quick to confirm after the PPV had ended that Moxley is signed to a multi-year deal, squashing any rumors that the former WWE Superstar could appear back in Dean Ambrose’s former home. AEW confirmed tonight that it has officially signed Moxley to a full-time, multi-year agreement effective immediately. Moxley, who was twice voted as Most Popular Wrestler of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated, will make his in-ring debut at FYTER FEST in Daytona Beach, FL, on Saturday, June 29.
