Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned. For more read our review.
Thor has been through a lot of pain and suffering over the last few years. He lost an eye, an arm, and his dignity. He was even dubbed “unworthy” for a time. War of the Realms appears to be his big come back, however, which if subtitled could have been dubbed “How Thor Got His Mojo Back.”
Case in point, Mjolner which was once gone is back again. And now Thor is standing tall. In a climactic moment of battle, Thor literally dubs himself by a new name. What is he called?
Now that’s badass. Thor appears to be admitting he is unworthy, but that doesn’t mean he can’t wield Mjolner! Later on in the issue, this epic moment seems to have had an effect on Odin (plus Thor kind of saved his life) and we learn Thor has a brand new path before him.
Yep, Thor is now officially the All-Father Thor. Time to get your throne in order Thor!
This is only a sliver of the story and I recommend you read the whole dang thing to get the bigger picture! It’s out now June 26th, 2019.
