Watch: Trailer for fourth and final season of Attack on Titan

The final season of Attack on Titan is coming.

Attack on Titan is coming to an end. The anime, based on Hajime Isayama’s manga of the same name,  announced that the fourth season will be its last one. Attack on Titan is  one of the most popular series of all time. Attack on Titan is set in a futuristic world in which humanity lives in walled off cities. The walls serve as protection to avoid getting eaten by monstrous humanoid creatures. A group of brave men and women do battle with the Titans.

The popular animated series originally aired in 2013. It is both a critical and commercial success. The series has garnered some criticism due to political interpretations in Asian countries and was even banned in China. However,  it is beloved in Japan and the United States. Along with anime, the franchise has spawned live action films, novels, and video games.

The season is scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2020. It is available on multiple streaming platforms.
