At the rate Marvel has been going you’d figure every hero has had a chance to bond with the symbiote Venom made famous; after the Absolute Carnage even this August plenty more characters will likely merge with the suit but before that it has found a new host with one of the oldest heroes in American history. But why would the Symbiote choose anyone over Eddie? Well, to save their life, of course!
We find out in Savage Avengers #3 Conan the Barbarian has been stabbed through the chest.
That’s not a wound you can come back from. That is, unless a Symbiote is hanging around.
The Klyntar decides to bond with Conan, literally filling the gaping hole in his chest. I guess Symbiotes can act as replacement hearts now?
The Symbiote then delivers a message to Conan that’s exciting and awesome.
