Cameron Boyce passed away at the age of 20 on Saturday morning. The cause of death was a seizure that resulted from “an ongoing medical condition”. His first big break was in the Keifer Sutherland horror film, Mirrors in which he played Michael Carson, the son of the protagonist. He was also in both Grown Ups movies.
He then went on to become a Disney Channel star. He starred in the popular Debby Ryan show Jessie and starred in both Descendants and Descendants 2. The Descendants franchise is about the children of some of Disney’s most well known villains. Boyce played Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil.
He’s also in the upcoming third installment in the Descendants franchise, which will be his final appearance. Fans and celebrities have flooded social media with emotional tributes, wishing his family and friends well.
Descendants 3 is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel on August 2, 2019.
