Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned. For more read our review.

Being a huge fan of the X-Statix mutant team from 2002 I couldn’t help but review the one-shot this week. The book has all the same vibes but with a facelift of sorts. That includes new characters mixing in with the old and a new kind of threat.

By the end of the issue, it is revealed writer Peter Milligan and artist Mike Allred will be back at it next year with a new series.
