New ‘Ghost Rider’ title storming onto shelves this October

Starring Johnny Blaze AND Danny Ketch.

Between DC’s Dark Multiverse titles, a Joker film and a new Metal Men comic, October’s shaping up to be a great month for comic fans. This is only set to continue as a new Ghost Rider comic comes blazing onto the scene, starring both OG Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze and the navy flamed Spirit of Vengeance, Danny Ketch.

‘Course, now, being Ghost Rider isn’t Blaze’s focus as he now rules Hell and, as warden, he’s “the first line of defense” between the demonic masses trying to escape. He’s also got to deal with the “lords of other hells” trying to take his throne — like an evil queen from his past — and the power it gives the user.

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly comics podcast!

Meanwhile, with his brother busy ruling Hell, Danny Ketch has to take on the “duty of Earth’s Spirit of Vengeance full-time,” no matter how much he doesn’t want to. Beware the Ghost Rider is written by Ed Brisson, writer of the recent Old Man Logan title and illustrated by Infinity Countdown’s Aaron Kuder.

It really is a great time to be a Ghost Rider fan, between Robbie Reyes’ GR being an Avenger and getting his own Hulu show. Here’s hoping Beware the Ghost Rider makes Spirit of Vengeance fans demonically delighted.
