Former ECW and WWE Champion Rob Van Dam was on hand for tonight’s Raw Reunion special, aiding Rey Mysterio in defeating Sami Zayn alongside Sgt. Slaughter, The Hurricane and Kurt Angle.

This is notable because Rob Van Dam is currently under contract with Impact Wrestling. This would normally preclude RVD from appearing on WWE television, but PWInsider is reporting that Impact had no problem whatsoever with Van Dam appearing on the show, and gave WWE written permission to use him.
The report also notes that it’s only a one-time appearance, and isn’t going to lead to any future involvement by the Whole F’n Show.
