“Highkeeper Ra is one of the [larger than life] stories we can tell here,” game designer Alec Dawson said in the Mogu Cultist card reveal with Gamespot. “Unobtainable and so powerful that you had to go through this whole process. … We wanted to create a ritual. It was actually in the [design] sheet pretty early, and it stuck around the entire time. It felt like you were playing a combo deck where you had something in mind the whole time.”

Mogu Cultist and Desert Obelisk have us thinking there’ll be another card or two revealed in Saviors of Uldum with a copy effect but meme cards like this with painstaking activators are always challenging fun for us — you can bet your sweet Ra we’ll be trying this one.
