Watch: Trailer for Zombieland 2: Double Tap

Sony Pictures is releasing Zombieland 2: Double Tap in time for this Halloween season

The time to nut up or shut has once again arrived. It’s been ten years since Columbus taught audiences the basic survival rules for living in a zombie world in 2009’s Zombieland. Sony Pictures is releasing Zombieland 2: Double Tap in time for this Halloween season.

The Academy Award credited cast of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone return as Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock. This time they are joined by more survivors played by Rosario Dawson, Thomas Middleditch, and Luke Wilson.

Director Ruben Fleischer is also back for the sequel. The original takes place after mad cow disease has resulted in a zombie outbreak. College student Columbus, is trying to make his way back to his hometown to look for surviving relatives. Along the way he meets Tallahassee, the sisters Wichita and Little Rock, all looking for companionship. In Zombieland 2, it looks like the gang is still together. They are still fighting zombies, squatting in famous homes, and making strange acquaintances.

Zombieland 2: Double Tap smashes into  theaters October 18th.
