New comedy horror series ‘Truth Seekers’ is coming to Amazon

Yeah boy, the Cornetto crew is back!

Amazon Prime has just announced that they have secured the rights to a new horror comedy series Truth Seekers. The show will star long time collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Amazon Prime procured the rights from Stolen Pictures, the production company created by both Pegg and Frost, and will air it in collaboration as an Amazon Original. In addition to starring in the new series, both Pegg and Frost are also co-writers on the show along with James Serafinowicz and Nat Saunders.

New comedy horror series 'Truth Seekers' is coming to Amazon

Pegg and Frost will play paranormal investigators who use their own homemade equipment to track ghosts and paranormal activity. Long time fans of the horror genre will recognize Simon Pegg and Nick Frost from their work in the Cornetto Trilogy: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End.

Production of the half-hour series Truth Seekers is scheduled to this start September. Yeah boy, the Cornetto crew is back!
