Jeph Loeb confirms Ghost Rider, Helstrom, more will ‘Adventure Into Fear’

Four Marvel Hulu shows will converge into ‘Adventure Into Fear.’

On Monday, Jeph Loeb revealed to Deadline a deluge of rather tantalizing information about Marvel’s upcoming Hulu shows, as well as a series of other exciting details on Marvel shows.

On their upcoming Hulu horror series, he said “there is in the comic book world the Spirit of Vengeance, and they are this unusual group of characters, which involve Helstrom’s sister, Anna. We suddenly saw that there were three or four shows that we could put together that we now refer to as Adventure Into Fear.”

Interestingly, Marvel had a title back in the ’70s by the same name, starring Morbius the Living Vampire and Man-Thing. I’m not sure if Michael Morbius could be involved, due to his upcoming film, but it’d be great if he is.

Loeb also said that these shows are terror, rather than horror. “No, it’s terror, because when you say horror, it means so many different things…What we love is the notion of how we can present a Marvel hero who was truly feared and truly believed that they were a monster, but that, as the stories goes on, they realize, oh, I’m the hero of the story, I’m not the villain of the story. That’s not something we’ve ever done before.”

Look out for Ghost Rider, Helstrom and much more on Hulu when they arrive.
