Apple TV has released the first full trailer for The Morning Show. This new and original series is a comedy-drama, fueled by star power and an interesting story line that seems to speak to events in today’s society.
Jennifer Aniston plays a host on a morning show and the trailer begins with an address to her viewers, acknowledging her co-host, played by Steve Carell, has been fired. Instantly, we see drama and lots of it. Carell and Aniston are joined by Reese Witherspoon, Mark Duplass, and Billy Crudup, who are part of the morning show crew.
The Morning Show trailer gives us a glimpse of power struggles, fights to stay relevant in a changing world, and stories of ambition. Written by Kerry Ehrin and directed by Mimi Leder, the show is produced by Hello Sunshine, Echo Films, and Media Res.
The Morning Show is scheduled to be released along with the launch of the new streaming service Apple TV+.
