20th Century Fox films has released the trailer for its new sci-fi thriller Underwater. A crew of underwater researchers face unknown dangers as they struggle to resurface after an earthquake disrupts their mission.
This film is directed by William Eubank, who won the City of Athens Award for the 2011 film Love. Eubank’s new thriller explores the mysterious depths of the ocean and whatever horrors await the crew.
The film stars Kristen Stewart, T.J. Miller, Vincent Cassel, and Jessica Henwick. We see a crew going about their day-to-day business on a their ship when disaster strikes. Kristen Stewart looks tough and it seems like she is going to do a lot of fighting for survival. The film features a lot of action and its setup lets viewers know that civilization and safety is very far away.
Underwater hits theaters January 10, 2020.
