Symbiotes seem to have a lot of powers these days, making blades, shooting knives, and forming into any clothing you need. Recently, Venom’s Symbiote’s baby, Sleeper, revealed a new power entirely: chemokinesis, allowing it to secrete chemicals as needed. Another feature of the Symbiotes is an ability to form into a hybrid by combining. We see just that in Venom #18 this week.

Midway through the issue, Venom’s son Dylan attempts to flee from The Maker who wants to forcibly remove a codex from Normie. Dylan blasts a bunch of jars filled with Symbiotes.
This opens up a can of worms for Maker, who must battle the Symbiotes back.
He’s in big trouble, but thankfully he has his greatest asset, his mind, to beat them back. Or does he? The hybrid abilities of the Symbiotes come out to play and do their work:
How four Symbiotes coming together will enhance the Symbiote abilities remains to be seen, but judging by the cliffhanger (a superhero throwdown is teased) we’re bound to find out.
