IMPACT Wrestling has announced that the company will be launching a new weekly broadcast on Tuesday, October 29 on AXS TV.
Anthem Sports & Entertainment, Impact’s parent company, acquired a controlling stake in AXS TV & HDNet Movies earlier this month on September 9. Three days following the purchase, Anthem announced they’ll be moving IMPACT to a new weekly broadcast on AXS in October, while also continuing with a simulcast on Twitch.
The launch date of IMPACT’s weekly show on AXS is anything but random. WWE’s Smackdown Live is leaving the USA Network and will now air live every Friday on Fox, beginning October 1. This leaves a big void and IMPACT is jumping at the chance to capture the attention of fans that expect to see wrestling on their television’s every Tuesday night.
To help build anticipation leading up to the Oct. 29 launch of their weekly pre-taped show, IMPACT will air weekly specials starting Oct. 1 (the day Smackdown starts on Fox), which profile top stars and recaps storyline events from the past year.

IMPACT Wrestling starts at 8/7c, at 6 p.m. MT and at 5 p.m. PT on October 29.
