Audiences will never get tired of seeing old television shows made into major motion pictures. Well, at least Hollywood will never get tired of making them. For those who have been clamoring for another Charlie’s Angels remake (there are some out there, right?), a new trailer for the movie has been released.
The latest version of the iconic 1970’s television show puts a different spin on the premise. The Townsend Agency has expanded to a global level. There are multiple Angels all around the world receiving instructions from various Bosleys.
This will be the third film based on the original. Starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu, a reboot also named Charlie’s Angels was released in 2000. The sequel Full Throttle was released in 2003. Though the movies did well at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics they have also been the source of much scorn. Both movies won multiple bad movie “awards” such as Worst On Screen Group and Worst Screenplay.
Charlie’s Angels is scheduled to be released November 15, 2019.
