Diablo 4 leaked in ad for new Diablo art book

The leak more or less concerns the game’s announcement is coming at BlizzCon.

Rumors have been swirling recently that Blizzard will be announcing Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, and Diablo 2 Remastered at the company’s upcoming annual convention, BlizzCon 2019.

Twitch streamer Metro kicked the rumor discussion into high gear over the weekend when the sometimes tipster, who has been known to have accurately prediction Blizzard releases in the past, announced that the three games would be revealed at BlizzCon next month.

It looks like Metro may once again prove to be on the mark with his predictions.

An advertisement for an upcoming Diablo art book, The Art of Diablo, in the German magazine Game Star, seemingly confirmed Diablo 4 today. The advertisement reads:

With over 500 artworks from Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo III and Diablo IV, this book presents many striking works of art created for Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic action RPG, which have given eternal nightmares to generations of fans.

The Art of Diablo is a hardcover book that’s due to ship November 3, the day after BlizzCon. Which would be perfect timing for fans interested in anything related to a Diablo 4 announcement.

Blizzard has been in the dog house with Diablo fans ever since last year’s disastrous Diablo Immortal announcement, with the famous developer question that fans will never forget, “Don’t you guys have phones?”

After waiting 7 years for a new Diablo game to come to the franchise, fans were absolutely furious with the reveal that the new game to come to the franchise was a re-skinned Chinese mobile game, that wasn’t even fully developed by Blizzard.

BlizzCon will be held in Anaheim, California November 1-2. Be sure to check back with us for full coverage of the event.
