Warner Bros. Unveils ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Trailer

The Amazon Princess is back and she looks BADASS!

At long last we get our first good look at director Patty Jenkins’ follow up to Wonder WomanWonder Woman 1984 — this time featuring Diana Prince in mid-80’s America.

There’s a lot to take in while you’re grooving to Blue Monday by New Order and enjoying the heck out of Jenkins’ big 80’s aesthetic: Kristin Wiig as Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva before her villainous transformation into Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as an infomercial hawking Maxwell Lord, and a resurrected Steve Trevor (played once again by Chris Pine).

For Jenkins’ sequel, Hans Zimmer has replaced Rupert Gregson-Williams to do the film’s score. Zimmer previously scored Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, the first and second films in the DC Extended Universe.

Oh yeah…and Gal Gadot kicking all types of ass, including a scene where she’s SWINGING ON HER LASSO ON A FREAKING LIGHTING BOLT!

Ahem…sorry…got a bit overly excited there. Wonder Woman 1984 will be in theaters June 5, 2020.
