Monster Hunting and Family Drama in ‘October Faction’ Trailer

The IDW/Netflix collaborations keep on coming. We received the trailer for the much anticipated, Locke & Key, yesterday. Now, another preview has been released, but this time, for the upcoming series, October Faction. It is based off the comic from Steve Niles and Damien Worm.

The show is described as Men in Black meets Riverdale where dark familial secrets and high school drama combine behind the struggle between monsters and humans. Parents, Fred and Deloris, are unassuming insurance sales reps who move their twins, Geoff and Viv, back to Fred’s home town in New York. Things go awry when the children learn their folks are actually trained monster assassins.

October Faction was adapted and created by Damian Kindler and stars J.C. MacKenzie and Tamara Taylor as the parents and Gabriel Darku and Aurora Burghart as the 17-year-old children. Check out the trailer below and watch the show when it premieres on Netflix on January 23.
