The Street Profits defeated the incumbent champions, Seth Rollins and Murphy, in Raw‘s first match of the evening following a Stunner from Kevin Owens onto the Monday Night Messiah while the referee was distracted. This allowed Montez Ford to hit a frog splash for the win and the titles.
The match was dubbed “Now or Never” for the Street Profits, with the stipulation that had the Street Profits lost, they could never challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championship again.
This makes the Street Profits two-time tag team champions under the WWE umbrella — they won the then-vacant NXT Tag Team Championship in June 2019 at NXT TakeOver: XXV.
