The Comedy and Song of Central Park

Central Park, from the creator of Bob’s Burgers, debuts May 29 on Apple TV+

Last January during the Television Critics Association Press Tour, Apple TV+ revealed a number of new programming coming to the streaming service this year. Among them was Central Park, an animated musical comedy from the creator of Bob’s Burger.

Loren Bouchard writes and executive produces along with Josh Gad and Nora Smith. The story follows the Tillerman family, who live in the titular park, as they fend off a wealthy hotel heiress and her plans to develop the public area into condos. The show has assembled a talented cast of actors that include Gad, Kristen Bell, Daveed Diggs, Titus Burgess, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr. and Stanley Tucci. A truly impressive group with both acting and singing chops.
