AMC releases pair of teasers for season 2 of ‘NOS4A2’

Vic McQueen fights to protect her son from Charlie Manx.

The bad news: AMC has pushed back the premiere of the second season of NOS4A2 from June 1 to June 21.

The good news: We got a couple of teasers today to help tide us over.

The series (based on the novel of the same name by Joe Hill) spent the first season with Vic McQueen as a teenager during her fight against Charlie Manx, a seemingly immortal creature who feeds on the souls of children. Vic is able to use her powers as a fellow strong creature to track and eventually subdue Manx, but at a terrible cost. There’s a whole lot more to it than that, but you really need catch up on the show’s fantastic first season on (Hulu or AMC premiere) to get the full picture.

Season 2 of NOS4A2 will focus on Vic as an adult trying to protect her son Wayne from Manx as he seeks his revenge.

Since the premiere has been delayed, you also have time to check out the book, which is one of the best horror novels you’ll ever read.
