Velveteen Dream has broken his silence on the rumors swirling that he sent inappropriate images and messages to minors via Instagram, denying the allegations and saying the image was shared without his consent, suggesting his account was hacked.
Be assured I did not communicate inappropriately with anyone. A private photo of mine was shared without my consent or knowledge and I am working with a third party to look into this matter.

“Be assured I did not communicate inappropriately with anyone,” a statement on his Twitter account reads. “A private photo of mine was shared without my consent or knowledge and I am working with a third party to look into this matter.”
Images of supposed Direct Message conversations with underage fans have been circulating the internet that supposedly show Dream sending lewd images of himself to teenage fans. However, as you can see above, Velveteen Dream denies that he actually sent the images, essentially saying his account was hacked.
Dream defeated NXT Champion Adam Cole on NXT this week, suggesting he is in line for a main event push and possible title run.
WWE has yet to respond to the matter.
