Get hype: Tom Taylor teases readers he’ll be writing DC Comics’ Superman ‘soon’ via gorgeous art reveal

Will Tom Taylor be writing a Superman series? Only time will tell.

Earlier today beloved comic book writer Tom Taylor hinted at a teasing an upcoming project and many pricked up their ears.

The creator has written his fair share of DC Comics and Marvel Comics characters so the possibilities were endless. It appears the greatest American hero of all time–depending on your opinion of course–is going to be the subject of a future Tom Taylor project: Superman!

Whether or not this is means Taylor will be taking over Superman from Brian Michael Bendis, or if this will be part of a current series Taylor is writing like Suicide Squad remains to be seen. Heck, it may be another Elseworlds tale for all we know. One can argue this is a rather iconic look to Superman complete with red underoos. Taylor seems to agree the red shorts are required when he replied to a fan asking to get rid of them by saying…”Never.”

Taylor didn’t credit the art to any specific artist, but if the style looks familiar let us know who you think drew the art in the comments. You can also follow Taylor on Facebook.

More soon as they say!
