Earlier today, Tom Taylor announced new DC Comics series DCeased Dead Planet for a June 30 release date. The new series takes place five years after the events of DCeased with a Justice League team led by Damian Wayne, Jon Kent, and Cassie Sandsmark.

In the first promo art released for the series, Taylor showed off a cover that imbues a Blade Runner style by Ben Oliver. These two posters look quite similar if I do say so myself.
Taylor also revealed a variant cover featuring the new Justice League.
The end of the world was just the beginning.

Eagle-eyed readers might notice the enemies are sporting some red skin possibly revealing an augmentation to the usual undead in the main series. This is the third series in the DCeased line with DCeased Unkillables #2 coming out in March leaving us all tentatively waiting for the 3rd issue which comes out May 19th.
DCeased is a huge seller
DCeased #1 was a huge hit way back in May 2019 with an estimated 242,000 copies sold and DCeased #2 ranking second again in June 2019 with an estimated 152,407 units sold. At this point Taylor has built up the Elseworld’s tale so much it’s a given we’ll be seeing a lot more of it in the coming years.
This news comes just a day after Tom Taylor teased an image of Superman who looks decidedly different from the DCeased image above.
