Adventures in Movies! Looks at…’Driveways’

The boys look at one of Brian Dennehy’s final roles.

The gang from Adventures in Movies! watch a lot of films. Every once in a while they see one they want to talk a little more about. Welcome to Adventures in Movies! Looks at…

Movies about unlikely relationships are incredibly popular. The rom com and buddy cop genres are based entirely on the premise. Another version of the story is the lonely child who is able to make friends with the angry elderly person. This usually involves breaking down prejudices of what kind or another and both learning the true value of friendship. Driveways has the same foundation, but things differently.

Listen to the latest episode of the AIPT Movies Podcast!

Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel talk about the movie’s strong performances, when predictability is not a bad thing, and the beauty found in simple films. They also give their opinion on one of Brian Dennehy’s final roles.
