Watch: Charlie Manx terrorizes Vic’s family in new ‘NOS4A2’ Season 2 trailer

The Wraith rides again.

Following its terrifying first trailer a few weeks ago, another trailer for Season 2 of NOS4A2 was released yesterday with even more reasons to fear Charlie Manx’s return. In case it wasn’t obvious before, Manx (Zachary Quinto) will definitely be seeking revenge against Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) via her family — specifically her young son, Wayne (Jason David).

Christmas music in the summer is creepy enough on its own, but watching Vic frantically attempt to get through to her entranced son as he hums ‘Silent Night’ while holding a candy cane is all types of unsettling.

The trailer appears to reaffirm that the television series will see Vic and Lou Carmody (Jonathan Langdon) still together as adults, which is a major departure from the incredible book it’s based upon. That being said, I love the way Jonathan Langon played the role and the chemistry he and Ashleigh Cummings had during their brief time on screen together last season.

The trailer also gives us a few more glimpses at some of the series’ fantastic supporting characters, including Maggie (Jahkara Smith), Bing Partridge (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson), and Detective Tabitha Hutter (Ashley Romans), who looks to have a much more prominent role this season.

Oh, and a couple more tantalizing looks at Manx’s Christmas Land, of course.
